Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) experienced in Scrub and Circulating roles to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative patient care. The nurse will assist surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures

• Perform duties as Scrub and/or Circulating Nurse

• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols

• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies

• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures

• Perform counts of surgical instruments, sponges, and needles

• Document surgical care and patient status in EHR

• Coordinate with anesthesia, surgeons, and surgical team

• Ensure proper handling of specimens and surgical equipment

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

• Proficiency in surgical equipment and instrumentation

Education & Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (State)

• BLS Certification (ACLS preferred)

Experience

• Prior experience as OR Nurse, Scrub Nurse, or Circulating Nurse preferred
