Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to join our client’s onsite team in Rosemead, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BASIS administration, system performance optimization, and support for complex SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform SAP BASIS administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Manage SAP landscapes (development, QA, production) and ensure system health, performance, and security.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support packages.
• Handle client copies, system refreshes, transports, and performance tuning.
• Administer user management, roles, and authorizations.
• Coordinate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain backup and recovery strategies, and ensure high system availability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 9-10 Years of overall IT Experience.
• 8+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, HANA database administration, and system architecture.
• Experience with SAP landscape design, sizing, and installation on various OS/DB platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager, performance tuning, and transport management.
• Good understanding of security concepts, profiles, and role management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.

Nice to Have:

• S/4HANA migration and administration experience.
• Experience in cloud-hosted SAP systems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, GRC, and SAP Router configuration.
