Job Title: LTC LPN (Long-Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse)
Job Summary:
The LTC LPN will provide quality nursing care to patients in a long-term care facility. This includes administering medications, performing treatments, and coordinating with other healthcare team members to ensure the overall well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
3. Assist with resident care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.
4. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
6. Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice.
2. Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
