Job Title: Support Center Analyst (Systems Admin/Analyst)
Job Summary:
The Support Center Analyst (Systems Admin/Analyst) will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting system issues, and managing IT infrastructure within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of systems administration, network troubleshooting, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or tickets
2. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner
3. Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and user accounts
4. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
5. Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and systems
6. Document support processes and procedures for future reference
7. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
8. Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
2. 2+ years of experience in systems administration or technical support
3. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
4. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
5. Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) preferred
