Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backup & Recovery Engineer with strong expertise in Rubrik. The candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise backup solutions, ensuring data protection, security, and recovery across hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Rubrik CDM, Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC), and Brick appliances.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for enterprise environments.
• Integrate and manage backup solutions with SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
• Work with backup tools such as Veeam, Cohesity, and Commvault.
• Support hybrid environments including Azure, AWS, and VMware.
• Implement and maintain immutable backup policies and security best practices.
• Automate backup and recovery tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Ensure compliance with data protection and disaster recovery policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Rubrik CDM and RSC.
• Knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and VMware virtualization.
• Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Understanding of data security and immutability concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Relevant Rubrik or backup certifications are a plus.
