Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Engineer with strong expertise in Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The candidate will be responsible for managing asset lifecycle, maintaining CMDB accuracy, and driving automation and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage ServiceNow ITSM platform, including workflows and integrations.

Build, maintain, and optimize CMDB, including CI relationships, dependency mapping, and data normalization.

Manage IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle: procurement, inventory, tracking, and disposal.

Utilize ServiceNow Discovery tools to populate and maintain CMDB data.

Perform data integration and automation using APIs, import sets, and scripting (JavaScript, Python).

Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics for KPIs, cost tracking, and asset utilization.

Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and governance across CMDB and asset records.

Collaborate with infrastructure teams to align CMDB with network, cloud, OS, and hardware environments.

Follow and implement ITIL v4 best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow (ITAM & CMDB modules).

Expertise in CMDB management and data modeling.

Experience in asset lifecycle management and inventory control.

Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and integrations.

Proficiency in JavaScript/Python scripting.

Strong reporting skills (ServiceNow dashboards, Excel – VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

Good understanding of infrastructure (OS, network, cloud, hardware/software).

Familiarity with ITIL v4 processes.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow certifications (CSA/CIS-ITAM/CMDB) are a plus.
