Title : Azure Solution Architect
Location : Toronto, ON – Onsite
Skills Required:
Acts as expert for Azure Cloud initiatives as Technical advisor /Solutions Architect/ Strategic consultant in the solution designing, Pre-sales, plan , design, and delivery of cloud solutions.
Primary Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Good experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure.
Cloud certifications (e.g.Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
Proven experience in cloud solution architecture, preferably with Azure.
Strong experience in Solutioning & Pre-sales
Strong Client engagement, presentation skills, technical stakeholder management.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, services, networking and Data transformation.
Expertise in cloud security practices, disaster recovery, and high-availability design.
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and containerization tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
Ability to assess and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and security.
Cloud Architecture Design: Architect and implement cloud solutions using public cloud providers (e.g., Azure) to meet business and technical requirements.
Solution Strategy: Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and design cloud architectures that optimize performance, security, and cost.
Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions meet regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and follow industry security standards.
Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud costs and implement strategies to optimize cloud expenditure without compromising performance or security.
Cloud Migration: Lead cloud migration efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaboration: Partner with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions are aligned with company goals.
Secondary
Advises teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.
Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
Communicates and validates program architecture with infrastructure team, project management team, and technology services management team.
