Job Description

The SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of SAP systems. The role involves managing SAP landscapes, system upgrades, transport management, security administration, and ensuring high availability and performance of SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager
Perform SAP system upgrades, patches, kernel upgrades, and system refresh activities
Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and client administration
Monitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and capacity planning
Perform SAP user administration, roles, authorizations, and security management
Configure and maintain printers, background jobs, and RFC connections
Perform system copies, database refresh, and backup/recovery activities
Troubleshoot SAP system issues and coordinate with functional and technical teams
Maintain SAP documentation and system procedures
Support SAP HANA database administration activities
Work on SAP system migrations, installations, and landscape design
Ensure system performance tuning and optimization
Provide production support and incident resolution
