Roles & Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
• Design end to end Reltio MDM architecture aligned with business goals and enterprise data strategy
• Define entity models, relationships, hierarchies, and reference data structures
• Architect multi domain MDM solutions (Customer, Product, Party, Location, Account, etc.)
• Ensure extensibility, scalability, performance, and security of Reltio implementations
• Define cloud native integration patterns (event driven, API based, batch)
Data Modeling & Mastering Strategy
• Design L3/L4 data models including attributes, data types, and constraints
• Define mastering rules:
o Survivorship rules
o Match & merge strategies
o Trust and source ranking
• Configure:
o Match rules (exact, fuzzy, phonetic, weighted)
o Merge rules and survivorship logic
• Design data stewardship workflows for manual resolution
Integration Architecture
• Design and govern integrations between Reltio and:
• Source systems (CRM, Core Banking, ERP, Policy, Claims, POS)
• Downstream consumers (Data Lake, Analytics, Reporting, Digital apps)
• Define API based integration patterns (REST, GraphQL)
• Architect real time vs batch vs event driven data flows
• Leverage Reltio components:
o Reltio APIs
o Reltio Integration Hub
o Kafka/Event Streams (if applicable)
• Ensure error handling, retries, reconciliation, and monitoring
Data Governance & Quality
Define enterprise data governance framework using Reltio capabilities
• Establish:
o Data ownership and stewardship roles
o Data quality KPIs and thresholds
o Business rules and validations
• Configure DQ rules, validations, and exception handling
• Su pport compliance needs (especially in BFSI):
o Regulatory reporting
o Auditability
o Data lineage and traceability
Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight
• Act as technical lead for Reltio implementations
• Review and approve solution designs, configurations, and deployment strategies
• Guide engineers on:
o Reltio configuration best practices
o Match rule optimization
o Performance tuning
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
• Participate in architecture review boards (ARBs)
Environment & Deployment Management
• Define environment strategy (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
• Support CI/CD pipelines for Reltio configurations
• Plan and execute data migrations and cutover strategies
• Ensure backup, recovery, and rollback processes
• Coordinate releases and version upgrades
Security, Compliance & Risk
• Design role based access control (RBAC) in Reltio
• Ensure data privacy and security controls
• Support regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOC, internal audits)
• Define data masking and access restrictions when required
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
• Translate business requirements into Reltio solutions
• Work closely with:
o Business stakeholders
o Data owners and stewards
o Enterprise architects
• Lead design workshops and technical walkthroughs
• Provide architectural recommendations and trade off analysis
Performance & Optimization
• Optimize match rules to reduce false positives/negatives
• Monitor merge rates, survivorship accuracy, and system performance
• Recommend remediation strategies for data duplication and quality issues
• Support scalability as data volumes grow
