Job Description
Role: Network Operation L2
Location: New Delhi
Long-term contract
Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches and routers.
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
Implement VLANs, routing protocols, and network security policies.
Handle LAN/WAN troubleshooting and incident management.
Work with firewall and network security configurations.
Maintain network documentation and reports.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, and subnetting.
Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers (e.g., Cisco Systems devices).
Knowledge of VLAN, STP, NAT, and ACLs.
Basic understanding of firewall technologies
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
4+ years of experience in network operations.
Certifications like CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
Good to Have
Knowledge of wireless networking.
Experience with data center networking.
Basic scripting knowledge (Python or shell).
