Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineer – LoadRunner to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance testing strategies to ensure the scalability, stability, and reliability of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using LoadRunner.

• Develop and maintain performance test scripts and scenarios.

• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize application performance.

• Monitor system metrics and provide detailed performance reports and recommendations.

• Support performance tuning and capacity planning activities.

• Ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in performance engineering and testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner and performance testing tools.

• Knowledge of web protocols, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience analyzing server, application, and database performance metrics.

• Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, or AppDynamics.

• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
