Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the performance, scalability, and stability of applications under various workloads to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests.

• Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks or performance issues.

• Develop and maintain performance test scripts and frameworks.

• Collaborate with developers and architects to improve system performance.

• Monitor system metrics and generate performance test reports.

• Participate in performance tuning and optimization activities.

• Ensure applications meet performance benchmarks and SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in performance testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

• Knowledge of web protocols, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience analyzing application and server performance metrics.

• Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based performance testing environments (AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
