Role: Test Coordinator with Aladdin / Charles River exp

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator with hands-on experience in investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River (CRD) to support testing activities across critical trading and portfolio management systems.
This role will coordinate testing efforts across business and technology teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end testing activities across multiple workstreams and teams.
- Develop and manage test plans, test strategy, and test schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Manage test case creation, execution tracking, defect management, and reporting.
- Ensure testing coverage across functional, integration, regression, and UAT cycles.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and ensure proper documentation of results.
- Track and communicate defects, risks, and testing progress to project leadership.
- Ensure proper validation of trading workflows, portfolio management processes, and financial data.
- Support testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and integration with downstream/upstream systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Coordination or Test Management roles.
- Strong experience with investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River Development (CRD).
- Experience supporting testing for trading systems, portfolio management, and investment operations.
- Experience coordinating UAT cycles with business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Strong understanding of defect lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Investment Management environments.
- Knowledge of order management systems (OMS), portfolio accounting, and trade lifecycle.
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models.
- Prior experience coordinating testing across multiple vendor or offshore teams.
