Role: Investment Systems QA Lead (Aladdin / Charles River exp)

Location:  Denver, CO (Onsite)


Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator with hands-on experience in investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River (CRD) to support testing activities across critical trading and portfolio management systems.

This role will coordinate testing efforts across business and technology teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and releases.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate end-to-end testing activities across multiple workstreams and teams.
Develop and manage test plans, test strategy, and test schedules aligned with project timelines.
Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Manage test case creation, execution tracking, defect management, and reporting.
Ensure testing coverage across functional, integration, regression, and UAT cycles.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and ensure proper documentation of results.
Track and communicate defects, risks, and testing progress to project leadership.
Ensure proper validation of trading workflows, portfolio management processes, and financial data.
Support testing for system upgrades, enhancements, and integration with downstream/upstream systems.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in QA/Test Coordination or Test Management roles.
Strong experience with investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River Development (CRD).
Experience supporting testing for trading systems, portfolio management, and investment operations
Experience coordinating UAT cycles with business stakeholders.
Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Strong understanding of defect lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Investment Management environments
Knowledge of order management systems (OMS), portfolio accounting, and trade lifecycle
Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models.
Prior experience coordinating testing across multiple vendor or offshore teams.
