We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (French-speaking) to lead and support civil engineering projects in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing infrastructure and construction projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Lead the design and planning of civil engineering projects such as infrastructure, roads, and utilities
Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reports
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and engineering standards
Conduct site visits, inspections, and project evaluations
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafting teams
Communicate with clients and stakeholders in French and English
Strong experience in civil engineering design and project management
Proficiency with engineering design and CAD tools
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and infrastructure standards
Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
Fluency in French (spoken and written)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license or eligibility in Canada
Experience with infrastructure, transportation, or municipal projects
Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills
