TCS Canada is looking for a Technical Production Support professional to join our team in Waterloo, ON. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring stability, availability, and performance of production systems while providing timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
Provide L2/L3 Production Support for critical business applications
Monitor production systems, identify issues, and resolve incidents within SLA
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions
Work closely with Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams
Handle batch job monitoring, application logs, and system alerts
Support deployment activities and release management
Participate in on-call rotation and weekend support when required
Prepare incident reports and maintain support documentation
Strong experience in Production/Application Support
Knowledge of incident management tools (ServiceNow or similar)
Good understanding of SQL for data analysis
Experience with Unix/Linux commands
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in Banking/Financial domain (nice to have)
ITIL knowledge or certification
Experience working in onsite client environment
