Job Description
Role: Azure DevOps Engineer with RETOOL experience
Location: Toronto, Canada- 100% Remote
6-12 Months Contract (Possible extension)
Key Responsibilities
- Deployment & Upgrades
- Deploy Retool application on AKS clusters (Dev, UAT, Prod).
- Perform version upgrades using Helm charts following best practices.
- Configure and maintain namespaces, secrets, and resource limits.
- Platform Administration
- Monitor application health, logs, and performance metrics.
- Apply monthly security patches and vulnerability fixes.
- Coordinate with ISRM for compliance and security audits.
- Support Business use cases by collaborating with business team.
- Integration & Automation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for Retool using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Manage GitHub integration for version control and code deployments.
- Automate routine maintenance tasks and capacity planning.
- Identity & Access Management
- Configure SSO and SCIM provisioning with Okta.
- Manage user roles and permissions within Retool.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain deployment guides, upgrade procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Provide regular status reports and communicate with stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Total Experience: 8-10+ Years
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of Retool platform administration and integrations.
- Familiarity with Okta SSO, SCIM provisioning, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux, and monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk).
- Manage user roles and permissions within Retool.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise environments with compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure) and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to automate workflows using scripting (Bash, Python).
