Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Heavy Engineering Product exposure
• Exposure to forging, casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication and standard hardware 
• Good understanding about material standards, AWS welding standards and reading the complex engineering prints.
• Good exposure to sheet metal design and manufacturing aspects, GDT, design for manufacturing concepts

• Suppliers Primary Evaluations
• PCPA audits
• APQP Implementation
• Risk assessment and mitigation plan signoff
• Design review
• Tool Kick off
• Tool Development Tracking
• Fixtures / gauges / Tools readiness review / execution
• Tool Trails, As T0, T1, T2 and T3
• Parts Fitments Report & Corrective Actions
• Approval For Fit & Functions
• ECN /FETE implementations
• Testing & Validations
• Safe Launch
• PSW Sign-off
• Smooth SOP + Ramp up
• Final Development Handover
• Supplier Performance Enhancement Excellence in Delivery
• Around 30 to 40% travel to various suppliers location

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

• Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to gather all the functional requirements, design & material requirements, and ensure the quality of the deliveries from the suppliers.
