Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java and backend frameworks, a solid understanding of microservices and APIs, and the ability to work in an Agile environment to deliver reliable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and related frameworks
• Build and support microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability and performance
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Implement RESTful APIs, business logic, and data access layers
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8 or higher)
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend service development
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
