Location: Markham, ON- Onsite

Role and Responsibilities:

Minimum 4 years recent experience writing Cobol, CICS, DB2 , VSAM and JCL on an IBM mainframe.
Responsible for gathering and analyzing system requirements.
Good understanding of applications on COBOL, JCL, CICS, IBM DB2, File Concepts, VSAM, REXX, Easytrieve, mainframe SAS.
Should have good problem solving, debugging & troubleshooting Skills.
Good Knowledge in Insurance industry.

3 to 4 Years of experience in development and maintenance of mainframe-based applications.
Experience on COBOL, JCL, CICS, File Aid, SDF2, SAS (mainframe), IBM DB2, File Concepts, VSAM, and REXX.
Experience in any mainframe configuration management tool.
Should have work experience in Insurance domain on any of the Personal/Commercial Lines of business
Good exposure to SDLC process and Quality activities.
Sound knowledge on Insurance concepts like Underwriting, Claims and Pricing.
