Job Title: Windchill Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a Windchill Technical Lead with deep hands-on expertise in PTC Windchill PLM to lead technical design, development, customization, and system integrations.

This role will drive the technical direction of Windchill implementations and enhancements while mentoring developers and working closely with business and engineering stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong coding ability, Windchill architecture knowledge, and integration experience across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development activities for PTC Windchill solutions
• Provide hands-on expertise in Windchill customization, configuration, and extensions
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical design documents
• Configure and support Windchill modules such as:

• PDMLink
• ProjectLink
• MPMLink
• Change Management

• Develop and manage custom workflows, lifecycles, and business rules
• Lead integrations between Windchill and:

• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• MES and other enterprise platforms

• Work on Windchill APIs, Info*Engine, REST/SOAP Web Services
• Perform data migration, upgrades, and performance optimization
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root cause analysis
• Establish development standards, best practices, and code reviews
• Guide and mentor junior developers and offshore teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 14+ years of experience in PLM systems, with strong focus on PTC Windchill
• Proven experience as a Windchill Technical Lead / Senior Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Windchill customization and configuration
• Java / J2EE development
• JSP, Servlets, XML
• Windchill APIs & Info*Engine

• Experience in workflow, lifecycle, and change management configuration
• Solid understanding of Windchill architecture and data model
• Experience with CAD integrations (Creo preferred)
• Strong knowledge of ERP integrations
• Experience with Windchill upgrades and data migration
