Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Administrator to manage and optimize our Snowflake data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data warehousing, cloud data platforms, security, and performance optimization. This role involves administration, monitoring, and support of Snowflake environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Snowflake data warehouse environments
• Configure roles, users, and access controls for secure data access
• Monitor performance, storage, and query optimization
• Implement data backup, recovery, and failover strategies
• Manage Snowflake resource monitors, warehouses, and cost optimization
• Support data loading and transformation processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and data issues
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts
• Maintain system documentation and best practices
• Implement governance, security, and compliance policies

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of data platform/database administration experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of data security and access control
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools
