Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Tester with strong expertise in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Production Support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Salesforce enhancements, fixes, and integrations while ensuring stability of live systems. This role requires close collaboration with business users, developers, and support teams to maintain high system quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing for Salesforce applications.
Validate production fixes, patches, and minor enhancements in O&M environments.
Support production release cycles, including smoke testing and post-deployment validation.
Analyze production incidents/defects, reproduce issues, and validate resolutions.
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases.
Ensure data integrity and process flow across Salesforce modules and integrated systems.
Participate in defect triage calls, track issues, and ensure timely closure.
Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and traceability matrices.
Support SIT, UAT, and regression cycles for ongoing maintenance releases.
Collaborate with DevOps/release teams for deployment validation.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in Salesforce functional testing.
Strong experience in O&M (Operations & Maintenance) and Production Support testing.
Hands-on testing experience with:

Sales Cloud / Service Cloud (preferred)
Salesforce workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards

Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
Solid understanding of incident management and defect lifecycle.
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, qTest, etc.).
Ability to analyze logs and data for troubleshooting production issues.
Strong understanding of STLC, defect management, and regression strategies.
Excellent communication skills for working with business and technical teams.
