Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Mclean, VA (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly hands-on Data Analyst with strong experience in Python and SQL who actively builds, codes, and maintains data solutions. This role is not for candidates focused only on analysis, reporting, or project management. The ideal candidate is deeply involved in writing code, developing queries, working with modern data platforms, and collaborating closely with stakeholders through clear and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize SQL queries and data transformations, primarily using Snowflake
• Develop and maintain Python-based data processing and analytics workflows
• Work extensively with Databricks for data engineering and analytics tasks
• Build, manage, and version-control code using GitHub
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight
• Work with various databases to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and performance across pipelines and reports
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• Clearly communicate findings, assumptions, and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues independently and proactively
