Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant to support and enhance SAP FI processes across financial operations. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, implement, and support SAP FI modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting (AA), and

Bank Accounting

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI functional specifications
• Support period-end, month-end, and year-end closing activities
• Integrate SAP FI with CO, MM, SD, and third-party systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI issues, including configuration and transactional errors
• Support enhancements, upgrades, rollouts, and change requests
• Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and support UAT activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Provide production support and user training as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI)
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, and Financial Reporting
• Experience with SAP ECC (S/4HANA FI experience is a plus)
• Good understanding of FI integration with CO, MM, and SD
• Experience in financial close, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
