Job Title: Lead Azure + .NET Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Lead Azure + .NET Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, solution design ownership, and the ability to guide teams delivering secure, scalable cloud-based banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of Azure-based .NET applications
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on coding across the development lifecycle
• Define cloud architecture standards and best practices on Microsoft Azure
• Lead development of microservices and RESTful APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Own Azure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Ensure solutions meet banking security, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Perform code reviews and mentor developers; enforce coding and quality standards
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders in the banking domain
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and production stability
• Support release planning and production issue resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

• 12+ years of overall software development experience
• Strong hands-on Azure experience, including:
• Azure App Services, Functions
• Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
• Azure Service Bus / Event Grid
• Azure Storage, Key Vault
• Azure Monitor & Application Insights
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Proven experience in a Lead / Tech Lead role
• Strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience
• Experience designing secure, scalable, high-availability systems
• Strong experience with microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Have / Added Advantage

• Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and Docker
• Event-driven architecture experience
• Knowledge of banking compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX, data privacy)
• Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305) preferred
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
