Job Title: BMC Software Helix Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic BMC Software Helix Developer to join our team. As a Helix Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining BMC Software Helix solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing innovative software solutions to solve complex problems, ensuring a seamless user experience, and driving continuous improvement in our products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and design software solutions using BMC Software Helix platform.
2. Develop and customize BMC Helix modules, including incident management, problem management, change management, workflow automation, and service request management.
3. Build and maintain integrations between BMC Helix and other systems, ensuring data consistency and seamless integration.
4. Perform code reviews, bug fixes, and enhancements to optimize the performance of BMC Helix applications.
5. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify and implement enhancements and new functionalities.
6. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of BMC Helix applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing their queries and issues promptly.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, exploring opportunities to enhance the functionality and capabilities of BMC Software Helix.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong experience working with BMC Software Helix platform, including customization, configuration, and administration.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
4. In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
5. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and certification (ITIL Foundation certification is a plus).
6. Experience with web development frameworks and technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, React, etc.).
7. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in BMC Helix applications.
8. Excellent understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and SQL queries.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
10. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
11. Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
