Job Title: Lansa Architect
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Lansa Architect to join our team. As a Lansa Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software applications using Lansa tools and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide innovative solutions to enhance our systems. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, an in-depth understanding of Lansa, and the ability to architect and implement efficient and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design, develop, and deploy software applications using Lansa tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Create technical designs and architecture documents for software solutions.
- Implement efficient and scalable solutions using Lansa tools, adhering to coding standards.
- Test and debug applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the Lansa space.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices.
- Support the deployment and post-implementation activities of Lansa applications.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance software development life cycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lansa Architect or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Lansa tools and technologies, including Lansa for the web and Lansa Integrator.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Lansa RDML, RDMLX, and Visual Lansa.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and developing web and mobile applications using Lansa.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose optimal technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with system integrations and web services is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and architecture is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in Lansa development or architecture is advantageous.
