Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems based on blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure their optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with HVAC systems, using various diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, fans, belts, thermostats, filters, and compressors.
- Perform necessary upgrades and modifications to HVAC systems for improved energy efficiency and functionality.
- Respond to service calls and resolve client issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Keep detailed records of all installations, maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship preferred.
- Valid HVAC technician license or certification (state-specific) required.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with HVAC design and installation best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
