Job Title: DBT AWS Cloud Architect
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DBT AWS Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. As a DBT AWS Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the AWS cloud infrastructure in support of our clients. Your primary focus will be on building scalable and reliable solutions, ensuring high availability, and optimizing cloud resources. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions using DBT best practices
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, identify business needs, and propose appropriate cloud-based solutions
- Develop, deploy, and manage cloud architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation
- Implement security and compliance measures in line with industry standards
- Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency and performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud-based services into applications
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for improving infrastructure and cloud-based solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, continuously enhancing your technical skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience working as a Cloud Architect, preferably with a focus on AWS
- Strong knowledge of designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud solutions
- Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation
- Experience with data integration and migration, including knowledge of ETL processes
- Understanding of DevOps principles and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate) are preferred
