Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst to be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The role involves close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to validate functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to identify test scenarios and test conditions.
• Design, review, and execute test cases and test scripts based on requirements and design documents.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, system, and UAT support.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand fixes and validate resolutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and quality guidelines.
• Support test data preparation and environment validation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
• Knowledge of defect lifecycle and bug tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Ability to create and execute test cases from requirements and user stories.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
