Job Title: Ecommerce & Retail Automation Test Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Ecommerce & Retail Automation Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality of our ecommerce and retail automation systems. This individual will work closely with developers, stakeholders, and quality assurance team members to identify issues, drive resolution, and improve overall system performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement test strategies and plans for ecommerce and retail automation systems
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and thorough test coverage
- Execute test cases and document results for regression testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing
- Identify and report defects, track resolution progress, and verify fixes
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for system improvements
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on test automation best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on ecommerce and retail automation
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in test management tools, such as Jira, HP ALM, or TestRail
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or Postman
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA, are a plus
