Job Title: Lead Data Engineer (RedPoint RPI & Redshift)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer with expertise in RedPoint RPI and Redshift to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures to support our data needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and implement scalable and reliable data pipelines using RedPoint RPI and Redshift
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize and enhance existing data infrastructure to improve performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on RedPoint RPI and Redshift
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Experience with ETL tools and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
