Job Summary:
The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to end users for hardware, software, and system related issues. They will troubleshoot problems, install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software, and provide training and support to end users.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide desktop support to end users for hardware, software, and system related issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems
- Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
- Ensure all IT systems are up to date and functioning properly
- Provide training and support to end users
- Assist with network and server related issues as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
