Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Functional Test Analyst with strong experience in billing applications and a solid background in the Utility domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing billing solutions such as Oracle CC&B or SAP IS-U.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of utility billing applications.
• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases based on business and system requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing of billing processes and workflows.
• Validate billing functionality, calculations, transactions, and related business processes.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing as required.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, functional teams, and other stakeholders to resolve application issues.
• Ensure testing coverage across critical utility billing processes.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution results, and defect reports.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Functional Testing.
• Automation testing is not required for this position.
• Hands-on experience with billing applications.
• Experience with Oracle CC&B or SAP IS-U.
• Strong Utility domain experience – Mandatory.
• Understanding of utility billing processes and business workflows.
• Experience in test case design, execution, defect management, and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
