Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, microservices, REST APIs, SQL/PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and owning high-throughput Java/Spring Boot microservices, enterprise integration workflows, batch processing pipelines, and cloud-native applications. The candidate should also be comfortable working across development, production readiness, CI/CD, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development
• 12+ years of overall software development experience preferred
• Strong expertise in Java, OOP, Collections, Concurrency, and Clean Code
• Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Strong experience with Spring Batch
• Experience with Spring Batch Jobs, Steps, Readers, Processors, Writers, Chunking, Partitioning, and Recovery
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring MVC/WebFlux
• Experience building and consuming secure and resilient REST integrations
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2 client-credentials authentication
• Experience implementing API retries, timeout strategies, and resilient integration patterns
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience
• Experience with complex queries, indexing, transactions, and performance tuning
• Strong experience with Spring Data JPA and JDBC Template
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong experience with CI/CD and cloud-native application development

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput Java/Spring Boot microservices for enterprise integration and inbound data processing.
• Design and implement Spring Batch jobs and end-to-end data processing pipelines.
• Develop secure and scalable REST APIs and integrations using Spring Boot and AWS API Gateway/Lambda.
• Implement OAuth2 client-credentials authentication and secure service-to-service communication.
• Develop resilient integrations with appropriate retry mechanisms, timeout strategies, exception handling, and observability.
• Build file/API-to-database synchronization processes.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, Fargate, and DynamoDB.
• Develop and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and Step Functions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Implement automated testing and deployment processes.
• Design and maintain AWS infrastructure and cloud deployment configurations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using CloudWatch and X-Ray.
• Implement AWS security best practices using IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail.
• Develop backup and disaster recovery solutions using AWS services such as S3 and EBS.
• Optimize SQL queries, database transactions, indexing, and ETL-style workloads in PostgreSQL.
• Ensure applications are production-ready, scalable, secure, and highly available.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, Data, and other cross-functional teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
