SAP FS-CD / FICS Consultant with ABAP

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FS-CD / FICS Techno-Functional Consultant with strong ABAP expertise to support SAP Finance and Insurance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP FS-CD, SAP Insurance processes, ABAP, RICEFW, integrations, ECC, and S/4HANA, along with experience delivering full-cycle FS-CD implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional expertise across SAP FS-CD implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, and production support.

• Configure and develop SAP solutions with strong expertise in FS-CD.

• Participate in at least 2 full-cycle SAP FS-CD implementations and 1 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

• Design, develop, and support ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP solutions.

• Develop and support RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

• Develop and support integrations using OData, Web Services, RFC, ALE/IDOCs, BAPIs, and SAP Gateway.

• Implement and support User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework, and FQ Events.

• Design and develop OData services using SAP Gateway Service Builder.

• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms.

• Work with CDS Views and AMDP in S/4HANA environments.

• Support SAP FS-CD integrations with third-party and banking applications.

• Provide end-to-end support for SAP FS-CD business processes.

• Support UAT, defect resolution, production operations, and release management.

• Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and domain experts.

• Provide technical guidance and contribute to solution architecture and design decisions.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of SAP configuration and development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FS-CD / FICS.

• Deep understanding of SAP FS-CD end-to-end processes.

• Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP FS-CD implementations.

• Minimum 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.

• Strong SAP ABAP / Object-Oriented ABAP development experience.

• Excellent experience with RICEFW development.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms.

• Experience supporting UAT, production operations, and release management.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Experience with complex SAP FS-CD integrations.

• Strong knowledge of SAP Insurance / Financial Services processes.
