Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

5 years’ experience of quality assurance and testing as well as developing automation frameworks and automated tests
3 years programming experience in JavaScript, Node JS, Java
2 years’ experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience with back end services automated testing using frameworks such as such as REST Assured and Karate
Experience with back end services automated testing tools such as REST Assured and Supertest
Experience with application life cycle management tools. Atlassian Jira preferred
Hands-on experience in setting up continuous integration (CI) build environments
using TeamCity, Gitlab or a comparable solution
Hands on experience in source control with GIT
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like J-Unit and Test NG
Familiarity with containerization software such as Docker
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Demonstrated experience designing and architecting scalable and resilient enterprise software

Roles & Responsibilities

Participate in the application technical design process with the Application Architects on Internet and eCommerce related development projects.
Test web services using SOAP UI or any Service testing tools
Knowledge of concepts of Queue, Topic, JSON, XML
Participate in all phases of web services system testing.
Develop, implement and maintain quality and test procedures, processes and best practices for QA.
Develop and maintain test plan and test cases with associated test data based upon functional and non-functional requirements.
Identify test automation opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of test services.
Contribute to test automation scripting standards and best practices.
Understand SOA Architecture.
Write automation scripts and participate in peer reviews
