•              Deep hands-on experience in Veeva Vault architecture, solution design, and enterprise-scale delivery, with the ability to guide scalable platform decisions across regulated Life Sciences environments.

•              Strong architecture expertise across Veeva QualityDocs, Veeva eTMF, Veeva PromoMats, and Veeva MedComms, with the ability to provide cross-platform architectural leadership across ECM and Commercial content domains.

•              Strong understanding of enterprise content management and commercial content ecosystems, including content lifecycle management, document governance, promotional review, medical communications, regulated content operations, and global template governance.

•              Proven ability to translate business, regulatory, compliance, and operating-model needs across Quality, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial functions into practical, sustainable, and scalable architecture decisions.

•              Strong understanding of Veeva Vault configuration and platform capabilities, including object model, document lifecycle, workflows, security model, sharing rules, metadata strategy, integrations, reporting, and platform limitations.

•              Experience defining enterprise architecture, integration architecture, platform roadmap, governance standards, design guardrails, validation oversight, and long-term modernization strategy for complex regulated platforms.

•              Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Veeva Vault programs, including new implementations, global rollouts, migrations, platform consolidation, mergers, upgrades, and major transformation initiatives.

•              Experience planning and governing Vault data and content migrations, including legacy content assessment, metadata mapping, migration strategy, reconciliation, validation evidence, business cutover, and hyper care planning.

•              Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, middleware, identity and access management, data governance, security, master data, and enterprise data platforms in regulated Life Sciences environments.

•              Working knowledge of GxP, data integrity, regulated change management, release governance, audit readiness, and risk-based validation expectations for enterprise platforms.

•              Ability to partner with QA and validation teams to define CSV/CSA strategy, validation deliverables, test strategy, traceability, release controls, and audit-ready evidence for regulated Veeva implementations.

•              Experience shaping multi-year platform roadmaps, prioritizing technical debt reduction, governing architecture decisions, and aligning business, technology, compliance, security, data, and vendor stakeholders.

•              Demonstrated ability to lead distributed cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, business analysts, configuration teams, integration teams, QA/validation teams, vendors, and implementation partners.

•              Strong consulting, executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain architectural trade-offs, risks, options, and recommendations to senior busin ess and technology leaders.

•              Practical understanding of responsible automation and AI-enabled capabilities in regulated content and quality processes, including governance, risk controls, human oversight, and compliance impact assessment.

•              Experience with Agile product models, release planning, DevOps practices, CI/CD concepts, automated deployment approaches, and environment management for enterprise platform delivery.

•              Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

•              Veeva Vault QualityDocs, eTMF, PromoMats, MedComms, or Platform certifications are preferred; equivalent hands-on architecture leadership experience will also be considered.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

•              Own the target architecture, platform strategy, and roadmap for QualityDocs, eTMF, PromoMats, and MedComms across ECM and Commercial.

•              Lead solution design and governance for transformations, migrations, integrations, upgrades, and major enhancements.

•              Define reusable architecture principles, standards, decision frameworks, and guardrails for scalability, security, interoperability, and supportability.

•              Design integrations connecting Veeva Vault with CRM, content, regulatory, identity, data, and other enterprise platforms.

•              Guide capability prioritization, technical debt reduction, release planning, and investment decisions.

•              Oversee GxP compliance, audit readiness, and risk-based CSV/CSA validation.

•              Lead architecture workshops and reviews; communicate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to business and technology executives.

•              Align Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Security, Data, QA, and delivery teams around cohesive solutions.

•              Provide technical leadership to architects, product teams, specialists, and implementation partners while resolving cross-platform risks and dependencies.
