Role Summary
The PeopleSoft FSCM Techno-Functional Consultant supports implementation, enhancement, and AMS initiatives across PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management applications. The role provides both functional consulting and technical development expertise, ensuring financial processes are accurately configured, integrated, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
• Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Configure and support General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Billing, Purchasing, eProcurement, Expenses, and Project Costing.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare solution design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
Technical Responsibilities
• Design and develop customizations and enhancements using PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
• Build and support integrations using Integration Broker (REST/SOAP service operations, messaging, routing, monitoring).
• Develop reports and outputs using BI Publisher, PS Query, SQR, and nVision.
• Support interfaces with ERP, banking, tax, procurement, and external partner systems.
Testing, Migration & Deployment
• Conduct SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and resolution.
• Support migration management, retrofits, and PUM updates.
• Participate in release, cutover, and post-go-live support activities.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2. 5+ years of PeopleSoft FSCM techno-functional experience.
3. Working knowledge of accounting processes and financial controls.

Functional / Domain Skills
• General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing.

• Commitment Control, Cash Management, ChartFields, allocations, and journal processing.
• Month-end and year-end financial close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
Technical Development Skills
• PeopleTools I & II, Application Designer, PeopleCode, and Application Engine.
• Component Interface, File Layout, Application Packages, and Fluid development.
• Customization, enhancement, and retrofit development.
Reporting & Analytics
• BI / XML Publisher, PS Query, SQR, and nVision.
• Financial report design and drill-down analytics.
Integration Skills
• Integration Broker: REST / SOAP service operations, messaging, routing, and monitoring.
• Interfaces with ERP, banking, tax, procurement, EDI, and external partner systems.
Database & Performance
• PL-SQL: stored procedures, query optimization, and indexing.
• Data migration / conversion and performance tuning for large-scale financial data.
Support & Lifecycle
• SIT / UAT support, defect triage, and resolution.
• Migration management, retrofits, PUM updates, and release / cutover activities.
Soft Skills
• Fit-gap analysis, solution design documents, and configuration workbooks.
• Accounting process knowledge and effective stakeholder communication.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
• OCI / Azure / AWS exposure and advanced financial reporting expertise.
• Combo Edits, SUT / VAT tax setup, and Supply Chain (Inventory, Order Management) exposure.
