Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with AI expertise to design, implement, and support SAP Finance and Controlling solutions while leveraging AI, automation, and intelligent technologies to optimize financial processes. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA Finance, AI/GenAI, and finance process automation.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO).
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Experience integrating SAP FICO with other SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and SAP integration technologies.
• Experience with AI/Generative AI (GenAI) use cases within Finance.
• Knowledge of AI-driven automation for financial processes, reporting, reconciliation, invoice processing, and anomaly detection.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA applications.
• Good understanding of APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and web services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

AI Responsibilities

• Identify and implement AI/GenAI use cases across SAP Finance processes.
• Leverage AI for financial analysis, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, and anomaly detection.
• Explore intelligent automation for invoice processing, expense management, and financial close activities.
• Work with technical and data teams to integrate AI capabilities with SAP FICO.
• Support implementation of AI-powered assistants, intelligent workflows, and automation.
• Evaluate AI solutions and recommend opportunities to improve finance operations.
• Ensure AI implementations follow security, governance, compliance, and data-privacy requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
• Design and optimize finance processes using SAP S/4HANA and AI technologies.
• Configure GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center, and Profit Center processes.
• Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and period-end closing.
• Develop functional specifications and work closely with ABAP and integration teams.
• Support SAP integrations using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and web services.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, and AI teams to deliver intelligent finance solutions.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and production support.
• Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test cases, and user training materials.
• Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, migration, and upgrade projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Exposure to SAP Business AI / Joule.
• Experience with Machine Learning or Generative AI applications in Finance.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, or AI/ML concepts is a plus.
• Experience with SAP MM, SD, Ariba, or other integrated modules.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is preferred
