Role - Oracle DBA Location – Remote Fulltime JD - Responsibilities span several specialized areas that are not fully covered by Enterprise support, including:
PET Oracle database monitoring, administration, refreshes, security, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
IBM CDC replication support and PET application schema metadata
JBOSS and WebLogic middleware support
REN production deployments, database links, tablespace validation, CDC coordination, and restart activities (REN is a third party product)
Unix batch scripting, cron scheduling, Linux support, and server migration activities
RAD, ODS/Data Warehouse, and CHASE Paymentech batch processing
Pager-duty and off-hours production support, including weekends and overnight deployment validation
The most important need is to secure a resource with enough Oracle DBA, Unix, batch, middleware, CDC, and production deployment experience to contribute quickly. Off-hours coverage is also required for incidents, scheduled deployment windows, and post-deployment validation.
