We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BRIM, usage mediation, Java development, and high-volume transaction processing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring and supporting mediation pipelines and integrating CM with other SAP BRIM components and external systems.
Configure, implement, and support SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM), including Mediation Zones, workflows, pipelines, routing, filtering, and event processing.
Develop Java-based mediation rules, validations, transformations, and data-enrichment logic.
Manage high-volume usage and event data processing, including normalization, aggregation, duplicate detection, validation, and error handling.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations between SAP BRIM CM and external systems using SFTP, APIs, EDI, and file-based interfaces.
Support end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes across SAP BRIM components, including CM, CC, CI, and FI-CA.
Monitor mediation pipelines and troubleshoot processing, integration, and data-quality issues.
Perform performance tuning, production support, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with functional, technical, integration, and business teams to deliver reliable mediation solutions.
Participate in testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing system enhancements.
7+ years of SAP BRIM experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Convergent Mediation (CM).
Strong experience with Mediation Zones, Pipelines, Routing, Filtering, Workflows, and Event Processing.
Strong Java development and scripting skills.
Experience processing high-volume usage, event, and billing data.
Knowledge of SAP Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and FI-CA.
Experience with SFTP, EDI, APIs, and file-based/system integrations.
Strong understanding of usage mediation and Quote-to-Cash processes.
Experience with production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with large-scale telecom, utilities, subscription, or other high-volume usage-based billing environments.
Experience with SAP BRIM end-to-end implementations.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Strong documentation and technical design skills.
