Job Title: MES Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated MES Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of our Manufacturing Execution System. The MES Engineer will play a key role in bridging the gap between shop floor operations and enterprise-level systems, ensuring smooth data flow, process control, and manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Configure, develop, and deploy MES applications to support manufacturing processes.
· Collaborate with production, quality, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement MES solutions.
· Integrate MES with other systems including ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and databases.
· Maintain MES functionality by performing system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
· Troubleshoot MES-related issues and support root cause analysis.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, test cases, and SOPs.
· Assist with validation efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, FDA).
· Support data collection, analysis, and reporting initiatives to drive operational improvements.
Qualifications:
· 8–12 years of experience working with MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
· Hands-on experience with one or more MES platforms (e.g., Rockwell FTPC, Siemens Opcenter, Ignition, Wonderware, Werum PAS-X).
· Familiarity with manufacturing processes, batch execution, and electronic records.
· Understanding of integration protocols (OPC, SQL, REST APIs).
· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
· Exposure to Industry 4.0 tools and IIoT concepts.
· Knowledge of GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, or ISO standards.
