Job Summary:
Position Summary: We’re looking for a Group Retirements IT Architect to lead enterprise-scale solution design, infrastructure, and modernization initiatives. This role demands deep expertise in software architecture, cloud, DevOps, networking, and security – all tailored to Group Retirement services.
Job Summary:
· In a group retirement IT services architect role, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure and solutions that support retirement services, ensuring security, compliance, and scalability, while aligning with business needs and industry best practices.
· Collaborating closely with project managers and engineering teams, design system architectures encompassing software, hardware, and networks, balancing technical feasibility with business objectives and project constraints.
· Must be proactive and could work strategically with the project stakeholders by communicating the implementation plan, including key objectives and solutions, scheduling, tracking and reporting to all parties.
· The successful candidate will be focused, organized, and have a demonstrated ability to manage issues to a timely, thoughtful, and comprehensive resolution. Critical thinking skills are important for this role.
· Create holistic transformation roadmap and enterprise strategies, that converts organizational targets into practical, actionable solutions, by leveraging deep domain and modern technology disciplines like API integration, data strategy, legacy systems modernization, cloud adoption, digitization.
Years of experience needed – 12-15+years of experience as solution architect in Group Retirement domain. Need experience across several core IT areas, including Software Architecture Design, IT Architecture and Infrastructure, Cloud Computing and Development, Business Analysis, DevOps and Networking and IT Security.
Technical Skills:
• 12-15+ Years of experience as solution architect in Group Retirement domain with additional knowledge of Wealth Management domain is a plus
• Design, develop, and implement IT solutions for group retirement services, considering factors like scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Seek to gain an intricate understanding of the organization’s enterprise environment. They evaluate processes and workflows to uncover inefficiencies and constraints and identify opportunities to improve
• Aligning the technical strategy with the organization's broader goals and IT standards is crucial for a successful Solution Architecture that provides long-term value to the organization
• Knowledge of and experience using project management software, and ability to recommend improvements
• create intricate technical documentation that details the solution in full
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with quality attributes such as scalability, performance, usability, and security.
• Developing strong communication channels between architectural and development teams is essential to guarantee alignment with the architectural vision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines
• Ability to visualize and/or contribute to the presentation of an idea or project (from concept and design to presentation)
