Job title: Power BI Developer
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Power BI Developer with strong experience in building reports and dashboards from data warehouses and data models. This role requires hands-on expertise in DAX functions, report optimization, and understanding the entire Power BI pipeline—from data ingestion to report delivery. The ideal candidate must be located in or around Jupiter, FL, including Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or West Palm Beach areas.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
· Extract, transform, and load data from data warehouses and data models to create interactive visualizations.
· Write and optimize DAX functions to meet complex reporting needs.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements.
· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance of reports.
· Maintain and monitor Power BI data pipelines, datasets, and refresh schedules.
· Implement row-level security (RLS) and access controls within reports.
· Participate in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
· Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query (M Language).
· Proven experience working with data warehouses, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
· Knowledge of the Power BI service pipeline including datasets, dataflows, and gateways.
· Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
· Experience in performance tuning of Power BI reports and dashboards.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Data Factory, etc.) is a plus.
· Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Microsoft Power BI Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
