Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our employees in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques to ensure that all desktop systems are functioning efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and peripherals

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues

- Provide technical support for applications, systems, and network connectivity

- Collaborate with IT team to implement new technology solutions

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls

- Keep accurate records of all support tickets and resolutions

- Train employees on proper system usage and best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles

- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems

- Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting methods

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred
