Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced S4 Finance Data Migration Functional Analyst to support the end-to-end data migration process in an SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation project. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules, data migration methodologies, and tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BODS, and LTMC. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure accurate and efficient migration of financial data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the finance data migration activities for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
· Collaborate with business and IT teams to define data migration strategies, rules, and validation criteria.
· Gather requirements for finance master data (GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, assets, vendors, customers) and transactional data migration.
· Design and implement data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL) processes.
· Work with SAP data migration tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), Migration Cockpit, LSMW, LTMC, and other ETL solutions.
· Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SAP standards.
· Support data reconciliation, testing, and cutover activities to ensure successful migration.
· Document data migration processes, mappings, and business rules.
· Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in collaboration with technical teams.
· Provide training and support to end users on data-related aspects.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
· 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules with a focus on data migration.
· Hands-on experience in S/4HANA data migration projects.
· Strong understanding of SAP finance master and transactional data structures.
· Experience with data migration tools (SAP BODS, Migration Cockpit, LSMW, LTMC, IDocs).
· Knowledge of ETL processes, SQL, and data transformation techniques.
· Familiarity with finance business processes such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Taxation.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
