Job Title: Oracle Primavera Unifier Consultant – Utilities

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Primavera Unifier Consultant specializing in the utilities industry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the functional design, implementation, and support of Oracle Primavera Unifier solutions tailored to the specific needs of utility clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional designs, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Primavera Unifier, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful project implementations within the utilities sector.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with utility clients to understand their business challenges and objectives related to project management, cost management, and collaboration, specifically within the context of utility projects.
• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed functional requirements related to utility project workflows, cost controls, document management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and specifications for Oracle Primavera Unifier, focusing on utility-specific processes.
• Configure and customize Oracle Primavera Unifier to meet client-specific needs within the utilities industry. Be specific about which modules/functionality, e.g., Capital Project Planning, Budgeting, Cost Management, Document Control, Field Management.
• Develop and deliver training materials and conduct end-user training on Oracle Primavera Unifier functionality, tailored to utility users.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support to clients in the utilities sector.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Primavera Unifier features, patches, and best practices, with a focus on their application within utilities.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies for Oracle Primavera Unifier implementations within the utilities industry.
• Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to project timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams (developers, DBAs) to ensure seamless integration with other utility systems (e.g., GIS, ERP, asset management systems, project scheduling tools). List specific integrations, e.g., Primavera P6, Oracle EBS, Maximo.
• Conduct workshops and presentations to clients on Oracle Primavera Unifier solutions, focusing on their value within the utilities context.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a functional consultant or business analyst, with a strong focus on Oracle Primavera Unifier and direct experience in the utilities industry.
• Deep understanding of project management principles and best practices, specifically within the context of utility projects (e.g., transmission line construction, substation upgrades, distribution network maintenance).
• Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements related to utility project management and translate them into functional specifications for Unifier.
• Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Oracle Primavera Unifier. List specific modules/functionality, e.g., workflow configuration, form design, reporting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business audiences, including utility project managers, engineers, and executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies is a plus.
• Oracle Primavera Unifier certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with integrating Primavera Unifier with Primavera P6 EPPM or other project scheduling tools used in utilities.
• Knowledge of utility industry regulations and compliance requirements related to project management.
• Experience with cost control and earned value management methodologies.
• Familiarity with utility asset management and work management processes.
