Job Title: Disaster Recovery Architect
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Disaster Recovery Architect to design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and processes, as well as experience in developing recovery strategies to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of our organization.
- Coordinate with IT teams to implement and test recovery strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing disaster recovery plans, making improvements as needed.
- Provide training and support to staff on disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies in disaster recovery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
